GXR Gravel 27.5"/650b Tyre
The GXR is our all-surface gravel tyre.
Designed to offer minimal resistance while rolling on the centre of the tread and maximum grip on the sides of the tread; The GXR tyre balances speed and grip.
Utilising a 60TPI tubeless carcass the GXR is lightweight and reliable.
The range consists of the RXR, GXR and GXC models, which are all built around a lightweight and reliable 60TPI tubeless carcass. The carcass choice allows the tyres to conform to the terrain for grip and comfort, perfect for those off-road adventures.
We incorporated leading edges into the centre of the tread for braking and acceleration traction in all conditions, while managing to retain a flush rolling surface. This means that the leading edges only come into play when used in the wet, or when off-road. In the dry and when on smooth surfaces the tyre rolls with minimal resistance.
The side tread offers a combination of spaced and specifically placed blocks. Combined with optimised siping the aggressive side tread helps the GXR offer enormous grip levels that are there when needed most.
To make this a truly all condition tyre, angled mud and water shedding channels have also been integrated on the shoulder tread.
The GXR tyre also offers a large tread wrap for extreme lean angles and features dual compounds. The rubber compound used in the centre is slightly firmer to increase rolling speeds and longevity. The edge compound being softer, combined with the large tread wrap means grip is further maximised.
Included with the tyres as part of our solution to packaging is a reusable Velcro frame strap. This allows you to wrap spares and accessories to your bike with ease.
The GXR tyre is available in 650 x 47c, in all black and tan wall.

Changed your mind? Doesn't fit? No problem... simply pack your order back up, make sure the product is in the exact same condition it arrived. Please don't write on or apply a label to the product's retail packaging directly.
Note down your Order number in/on the parcel packaging so we can identify it and return to us.

We don't include paper Invoices or Delivery notes in your order, we understand these often go straight into the bin, but if needed, you'll have a PDF Invoice in your Order Confirmation email.

Here at Slam69 we have a collection point for any donations you may have. These guys are creative and innovative, even if parts are no longer fit for bikes, they will create something awesome!
Recently they organised a pub quiz fund raiser which raised them enough money to buy not one, but TWO new work stands, we were stoked to be able to help them attain a bargain price and order these in for them.

On top of offering our advice and guidance on the products listed that we personally use, know and have experience with, we understand pricing is a big part of making your decision too. We always try to bring the best pricing, so feel free to give us a nudge when you spot a better price. We are able to Price Match with the majority of items we have available.
We do have some criteria to meet when offering a Price Match.
- Send us the website URL to the competitors lower price. If in store, you can show us on your phone or a print out copy.
- The competitor must be a UK registered shop, we cannot price match against Google searches, Private sellers, eBay, Amazon or similar.
