The Roots frame is dedicated for going big and rough, this frame is designed for the Downhill Freeriders that are rooted to the mountains. With 200mm of the progressive rear travel, this frame will transport you over any rock garden you can throw at it, while being stable enough to pull that sick whip on an A-Line. The design is well proven and is priced well to make this an ideal choice for anyone looking to custom build a sick rig.
Roots can be run with either 27.5 or 26 wheels with the 150x12mm rear hub standard. The frame has a 73mm BB, ISCG-05 mount and tapered head tube for IS42/IS52 headsets. The rear shock has a 222x69mm size and seat post diameter is 31.6mm. The frame is equipped with the PM 160mm disc brake mount. for the disc brake (PM 160mm). During many months of testing the Roots has been run with both 180mm and 200mm forks and both felt great, the choice is yours. The frame comes in two color schemes: Red Devil, Black Angel and Grey Angel.
