The most popular freeride hardtail frame is back since 2014 season with some cool improvements to make it even better for all you hardcore riders. If you love to hit drops, wall rides and rough terrain on a hardtail bike, the Hornet is the frame for you. On the rear you will find a 135x12mm through axle while hydroformed seat stays are stronger, stiffer and better looking for a proper abuse. Up front you get a fully integrated headset, which are shorter making it better for long travel forks, while giving a cleaner look. This frame is built for hardtail Freeride and aggressive Enduro. Being a more aggressive frame it comes in just two sizes: 16 and 18. The new geometry is designed to cope with the dynamic of the 27.5 wheels or the agility of the classic 26 wheels both will fit very well!

Just want to say, excellent service from Slam69. As for the frame, I didn’t expect much for £190 but was very surprised. Superb quality and finish I would definitely recommend the Dartmoor Hornet frame.

Much more versatile than you might think being labelled a dirt/jump bike.
After my 26" trail full susser frame cracked, I was after a no-frills frame to port over as much as possible. Even though the bike as now built is under-forked (140mm vs 160mm) and under-wheeled (26" vs 650B) it rides brilliantly, and feels very much like the FS bike it's replaced. Looking forward to going longer on the forks and upping the wheels, it'll really come into its own.
